    Job Description:

    Qualification & Experience:

    Essential:

    • BE/BS in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Software or equivalent from an HEC recognized University.
    • Experience in Active Directory Servers Management.

    Desirable:

    • Masters in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Software or equivalent from an HEC recognized University with 02-years of experience in Active Directory Servers Management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervision of shift duties and preventive maintenance of Data Centre
    • Inventory Management
    • Updating the SINES Website
    • Keeping record of Biometric attendance system
    • Prepare minute sheets and draft letters for correspondence
    • Maintain coordination with vendors for timely repair / servicing of equipment
    • Maintain coordination with ICT Dte for timely resolution of IT related issues
    • Prepare and dispatch “End Semester” and “Half Yearly” reports to Acad Dte as per schedule
    • Create, delete and update active directory users and email accounts
    • Maintain details of network addresses of all the equipment

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    Essential:

    • Possessing a strong understanding of system administration tasks, including active directory management.
    • Ability to handle server tasks.

    Desirable:

    • Demonstrating the capacity to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
    • Email account setup
    • Network address maintenance

    Training/Certification:

    • MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).

    Terms and Conditions:-

    • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).
    • Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

    Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

    • 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
    • NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
    • In process of pursuing a required degree.
    • Medically unfit.
    • Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
    • Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
    • Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
