Assistant Video Editor – Short-Form Minimalist Content (Karachi)

We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor to support our primary editing team and help finalize short-form content before it goes for quality review.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys polishing videos, strengthening visuals, and maintaining a clean, minimal style while working in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be working in a high-output pipeline, where each main editor and assistant team handles around 70 short-form videos per day. Consistency, speed, and strong attention to detail are essential.

Your Daily Responsibilities

Apply visual refinements such as:

• Subtle zooms & motion emphasis
• Punch-ins and punch-outs
• Minor reframing adjustments

Review & clean up captions produced by the main editor:

• Correct spelling and grammar
• Fix accent-related text errors
• Ensure captions perfectly align with the audio
• Conduct final checks on pacing, audio flow, and visuals before QC

Maintain a simple, minimalist editing approach aligned with our brand.

• Communicate with the primary editor for quick updates or fixes

Manage a large volume of daily tasks with discipline.

• Be available for overtime on high-load production days

What You’ll Need

✔ 1–2 years of short-form video editing experience (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
✔ Strong English audio comprehension for caption verification
✔ Fast workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro
✔ Understanding of minimalist visual styles
✔ Ability to work under pressure with consistent accuracy
✔ Excellent attention to small details

Nice to Have

• Experience working under a team lead or supervisor
• Knowledge of retention-focused editing and pacing
• Familiarity with AI captioning tools (optional)
