PURPOSE

For a given product line or a given billing function your task consist in managing the billing databases price tables and parameters and controlling the accuracy of the information that will impact the results of the invoice production process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage on a timely manner all the billing parameters for a given product line so as to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information used in the billing system. This will result in the accuracy and timeliness of the billing data produced by the batch processes.
  • Process controls on the various billing databases under your responsibility to check the accuracy of the information and take any corrective actions necessary to guarantee the accuracy of the invoices.
  • Answer to any query from internal and external customers on the billing data and process you are responsible for
  • Develop simple queries on the databases to make controls checks and investigation on the billing information.
  • Conduct investigation and resolve problems/inaccuracies in collaboration with other entities providing data to the billing system.
  • Process dispatch of invoicing and billing information to the internal and external customers under the requested form (mailing of invoices file transfer etc?)Role dimensions.
  • Make decision regarding the management of the billing parameters in line with pre-defined procedures
  • Responsible for the organisation of his/her own task management. Suggestions regarding any improvement of the processes and methods used by the billing group.
Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE

- Very good organisational skills- Time management / respect of deadlines- Ability to understand the interactions with other functions / processes- Ability to question the methods and processes used- Experience in database management- Ability to work in a team

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with SQL and Salesforce.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of telecom or IT services billing processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or financial operations

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Academic qualification required. (Finance/management techniques / business data processing)
