For more than 40 years, our attorneys have guided individuals and businesses through complex business disputes, civil litigation (in state and federal courts), and construction law matters, with additional experience in contracts, real estate, wills, and probate.

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an Associate Attorney to join our collaborative and dynamic team.

Position Overview

We are looking for a licensed Texas attorney with 2–3 years of experience who is a self-starter, strong communicator, and thrives in a small-firm environment that values independence and excellence. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners while managing their own cases and developing a broad practice across multiple areas of law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of matters in business, civil litigation, real estate, and probate.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and transactional documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft memoranda using LexisAdvance and Westlaw (including FormBuilder).
  • Manage case filings, hearings, and discovery schedules in both state and federal courts.
  • Attend and assist in hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients, courts, and team members.
  • Contribute to firm initiatives, client development, and practice growth.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
  • 2–3 years of experience practicing in civil litigation, business law, real estate, or probate.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
