Associate Attorney

John J. Zidziunas & Associates is a boutique employment law firm concentrating in all aspects of labor and employment discrimination with a focus on sexual harassment, sex assault, whistleblower retaliation, Qui Tam claims, gender/sex discrimination, pregnancy and disability discrimination, and all other areas of employment law and civil rights violations. Our main office is located in Livingston, New Jersey with an additional office in lower Manhattan. However, we are now expanding our Firm to open an office in Miami, FL.

The ideal candidate we seek for this Associate position is 3-6 years of litigation and trial experience with a judicial clerkship strongly preferred. We seek a candidate licensed in Florida (required) but preferably also holds a license in New Jersey and/or New York. We seek a candidate who is sharp, confident, zealous, and can personally manage their case load and calendar in a highly professional and self responsible manner while working mostly remote. The Associate Attorney will work with Mr. Zidziunas and other Associates on all state and federal cases to prepare pleadings, letters, briefs, motions, deposition work and directly communicate with clients and the Court on a daily basis. The Associate is expected to perform monthly billing and has the ability to work from home at all times with the option of coming into the office for key client meetings depositions and mediations. The ideal candidate for this position has conducted trials before successfully, argued motions before a judge, conducted several depositions, written briefs and prepared discovery. The ideal candidate has a passion for becoming a trial lawyer and growing with the Firm.

This position is full-time remote and starting as soon as possible. Salary is commensurate with experience. We encourage the Associate to bring business into the Firm, and we offer profit sharing for any cases and files the candidate originates for the Firm. Being bi-lingual in Spanish or other languages is preferred but not required. We offer extensive vacation to our employees and other benefits.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
