Associate Attorney

ABOUT THE ROLE

MFox Law Group, Inc. is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing boutique firm in Santa Clarita, California. You’ll work on a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, business disputes, and employment defense matters, including wage and hour claims. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on case experience, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Appear in state and federal court.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy and case management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing (no pending applicants).
• 2–5 years of attorney experience in a law office setting.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced setting.
• Wage and hour defense experience preferred.

COMPENSATION

• Salary range: $120,000–$150,000 DOE
• Bonus opportunities for originating clients.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance after probationary period.
• 401(k) eligibility after one year.
• Eligibility for raise after initial performance review.
