Associate Attorney

We are looking to hire an Associate Attorney needed for a busy Family law firm in Stockton. This is an immediate opening for a full-time position. We are looking for an individual who has passed the Ca Bar, is interested in Family Law or has experience in Family Law. The candidate must be a hardworking and self-motivated individual that pays close attention to details. Our job requires that you be able to multi-task, be a team player, and be dependable.

The candidate must have excellent organizational skills and good written, verbal communication skills and enjoys being in court daily. In addition, the candidate should possess a positive attitude who enjoys working with people and wants to handle a large caseload that may involve litigation. Compensation and bonuses are commensurate with experience and effort.

We are willing to consider applicants without experience but must be interested in Family Law. Highly fast paced, deadline-oriented position. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and legally able to work in the United States.

Main Functions Include:

• Become familiar with Family Law cases, and the procedures and requirements of the Family Law court.
• Familiarize yourself with our current files and clients while learning the required paperwork and forms.
• Become familiar and learn the family law filing deadlines and requirements.
• Manage client files and related documents.
• Provide support for other team members.
• Conduct research and discovery.

Must have knowledge in: Word and Outlook. Will be taught how to use LawYaw, Clio, and GoTo for client work, client intake, and our phone system.

Current Active Ca Bar license is required.
