Associate Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our bankruptcy practice. This role is ideal for a recent law graduate or licensed attorney looking to gain hands-on experience in debtor representation. You’ll work directly with clients, draft and review legal documents, and attend 341 meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review bankruptcy pleadings, schedules, and related filings.
• Meet with clients to gather financial information and prepare case documentation.
• Attend 341 meetings and represent clients in routine bankruptcy proceedings.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely communication with clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure accurate and compliant filings.
• Ability to practice other areas of law, if candidate desires.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Mississippi.
• No prior bankruptcy experience required — training provided.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and ability to communicate compassionately and clearly with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
