Associate Attorney

Job Title: Criminal Defense Attorney

Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Criminal Defense Attorney to join our legal team. We also welcome entry level Associates. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients facing criminal charges. The successful candidate will handle the discovery files, negotiate plea bargains, draft motions and pleadings, and represent clients at hearings and trials.

Requirements:

* Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations to determine strategies for defending clients.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and options and recommend a course of action.
- Prepare and file motions and pleadings in court.
- Negotiate plea bargains with prosecutors.
- Represent clients at hearings and trials.
- Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare cases for trial.
- Create and maintain client relationships.
- Be able to occasionally travel to out of State or county cases

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
