Job Overview
We are seeking an entry level dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our reputable criminal defense law firm. The successful candidate will perform court related duties including appearing at status conferences, motion hearings and trials by jury. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, people skills and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Be expected to work independently and be a self starter with little supervision once tranining is complete.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and memoranda with precision and clarity.
- Manage case files efficiently in a high volume practice while ensuring attention to detail.
- Communicate with clients in an emphathetic manner and have good people skills.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations through continuing legal education.
- Be responsible for administrative tasks such as filing documents with courts or agencies and maintaining case management systems.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Be willing to travel to all courts within the county and occasionally outside the county.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
