Personal Injury Attorney

Slater & Zurz, LLP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results driven personal injury attorney to join the firm. The ideal candidate should have the ability to handle a large, active docket of both pre-litigation and litigation files and aggressively advocate for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and work up assigned personal injury cases, including pre-suit claim investigation, settlement negotiations, lien resolution, preparing pleadings, motion practice, research and writing, discovery, attendance at court conferences and hearings, litigating cases to verdict, etc.
  • Work with and support teams within the firm.
  • Maintain communication and positive relationships with clients.
  • Supervise support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice in Ohio.
  • Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience, preferably in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, and/or prior claims handling experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of NEOS case management software preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with others and contribute to a positive work environment to advance firm goals.
