Associate Attorney

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Attorney to join our law firm's team of lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants in a hybrid role that utilizes remote platforms such as Microsoft Teams, case management software, and Westlaw. This position offers a starting salary between $110,000 and $140,000, plus benefits and performance-based bonuses. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of civil litigation experience, including drafting motions, arguing at hearings (including evidentiary hearings), and developing litigation strategies, with a focus on business and real estate disputes. Strong negotiation and courtroom skills, along with proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw, are essential, as the Attorney will be responsible for representing clients, providing sound legal advice, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and procedural rules.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings including discovery, mediations, and court appearances.
• Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memorandum of law.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in various matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the law office to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
