Established Jupiter, Florida estate planning and real estate practice is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney who is compassionate, self-motivated and hard-working with a strong commitment to stellar work and client service.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Meet with clients regarding their estate planning goals, family dynamics, and financial circumstances and provide counsel regarding recommended estate planning.
  • Draft estate plan documents including Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Wills and Advance Directives.
  • Manage probate and trust administrations from initiation through closure, including guiding clients and beneficiaries with empathy throughout the process and drafting court pleadings.
  • With minimal supervision, lead and take ownership and responsibility for client work from initial meeting through completion with a strong commitment to timeliness and client-focused accurate work.
  • Supervise and mentor talented paralegal team.

Applicant requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
  • Must have minimum 2 years experience in estate planning.
  • Exceptional skill and efficiency in drafting high quality estate planning documents.
  • Experience in trust and estate administration.
  • Experience leading client meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple diverse client legal matters with minimal supervision, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Must be ambitious, motivated, hard-working and a self-starter.
  • High-level organizational and time-management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Lawgic and Lexis Nexis.

Position is full-time, minimum 40 hour per week. Extended hours and weekends may be required to meet client needs and deadlines. In-house position. No remote work due to client meetings.
