Associate Attorney ( 2yrs Personal Injury exp req )

We are a boutique personal Injury firm located in Buckhead, Atlanta, seeking an associate to handle a caseload of pre-litigation and litigated matters. Candidates must meet deadlines and work collaboratively with paralegals and case managers. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a strong work ethic, strong team skills, and excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates must possess 2-4 years of personal injury experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of personal injury cases, including reviewing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
• Interview clients to gather necessary information and assess the strength of their claims.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights and legal options.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
• Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case.
• Prepare and present persuasive arguments in court to advocate for clients during trials, hearings, and settlement conferences.
• Collaborate with experts, such as medical professionals, accident reconstruction specialists, and economists, to build strong cases.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files, including all relevant documents, correspondence, and evidence.
• Stay updated on changes in personal injury law by attending seminars, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
• Keep clients informed about the progress of their cases and promptly respond to their inquiries.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to secure the maximum possible compensation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
