What We’re Looking For

  • Active California Bar License in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of civil defense litigation experience, including handling pleadings, motion practice, depositions, written discovery, and case management.
  • Experience with California Warranty Law, including the Song-Beverly Act and related statutes is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills combined with a passion for litigation.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to meet multiple deadlines efficiently under pressure.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality legal work and maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ownership mentality in handling cases and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage civil defense litigation matters from case inception through resolution, including drafting and filing pleadings and motions.
  • Conduct thorough discovery processes such as drafting written discovery and taking or defending depositions.
  • Appear in court and actively participate in motion hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and support staff to develop effective case strategies.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant statutes and case law, particularly in California warranty and consumer protection law, to provide insightful counsel.
  • Meet deadlines and manage caseload effectively while upholding the firm’s standards for quality and client service.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
