ENGLAND PONTICELLO & ST.CLAIR (EPS) seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. EPS has a history of over 60 years in California, with success from the Trial level to SCOTUS. EPS seeks an associate with 0-4 years of litigation experience for workers' compensation defense, compensation DOE. Willing to consider newly admitted attorneys.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent research, writing and oral advocacy skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate and advocate for clients. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to provide comprehensive legal services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Assist in litigation processes by preparing for trials, hearings.
• Conduct depositions, discovery and appear at Motion and court appearances.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California bar.
• Proven experience in legal research, writing and court appearances in liability, employment or subrogation matters.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
