This individual will be tasked with applying a data analytics skillset to support members of the Exelon Audit Services (EAS) team through risk-focused engagements and initiatives. The role will support EAS's Data Analytics team in the design, execution and maintenance of data models and analytics to assist in identifying trends, patterns, continuous risk monitoring, and insights. The candidate will support the team by enabling data-driven, risk-informed decision making for our auditors and business. The individual will utilize existing skills, and invest in further developing technical skillsets to assist the Data Analytics team in designing, development and implementation of business intelligence and continuous monitoring data analytics. This includes the design and development of reports, dashboards and data visualization, advanced analytics, and process automation. As part of this individuals progression it is expected they will learn fundamental audit skills relevant to the groups primary purpose as a risk assurance function.
Primary Duties: PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESThis role supports Exelon Audit Services (EAS) by applying data analytics to enhance risk-focused audit engagements and initiatives. The individual will assist in designing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and automation tools that enable continuous risk monitoring and data-driven decision-making. As part of their development, the candidate will also build foundational audit skills aligned with EAS's risk assurance objectives.
Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS�Undergraduate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems/Technology, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Finance or related subject area. �Demonstrated strength in analytical reasoning and critical thinking abilities. �Familiarity leveraging an analytical tool such as Python, Power Query, or R. �Familiarity with dashboard and data visualization tools such as Power BI, or Tableau. �Familiarity in writing SQL queries with an understanding of database systems and establishing connections to diverse data sources. �Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. �High standards for customer service and the ability to build effective working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS�1 year within a data analytics role or an academic basis in data science. �A GitHub, Kaggle or similar portfolio of prior data analytic work. �Experience automating solutions (Power Automate). �Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint. �Experience working with a project team to implement a data driven solution and insights. �Relevant professional accreditation (e.g. CIA, CISA, CFE, CPA, PMP, Six Sigma). �Relevant technical certifications (Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, AWS Certified Machine Learning, TensorFlow Developer Certificate, )
