Summary

Phaedra Solutions is looking for a driven and proactive Associate Business Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with up to 1 year of professional experience in business development. As an Associate Business Developer, you will play a key role in client acquisition, relationship management, opportunity identification, and supporting revenue growth initiatives. You will assist with proposal development, managing the sales pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to help achieve business targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify potential clients through online research, industry databases, social media, and networking.
  • Generate qualified leads via marketplaces (Upwork, Fiverr, etc.) and outreach campaigns (emails, LinkedIn, cold calls, events, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of prospects.

Client Outreach & Communication

  • Initiate and manage professional communication with prospects.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships to establish trust and credibility.
  • Draft client proposals, follow-up messages, and sales presentations.

Sales Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Track and update client interactions and sales opportunities in the CRM.
  • Monitor and report sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts to management.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all communications and business opportunities.

Meetings & Presentations

  • Schedule, coordinate, and participate in client meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, slides, and follow-up materials.
  • Support senior team members during client negotiations.

Business Research & Market Analysis

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends.
  • Provide insights into potential new markets and partnership opportunities.
  • Analyze industry data to support sales strategy and decision-making.

Proposal & Documentation Support

  • Assist in drafting proposals, RFQs, and RFP responses.
  • Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to prepare tailored business pitches.
  • Maintain standardized templates for proposals and sales documents.

AI Tools & Process Automation

  • Use AI tools to automate outreach, personalize communication, and streamline lead nurturing.
  • Utilize productivity tools for reporting, data analysis, and client engagement.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Support

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales objectives.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure accurate solutions for clients.
  • Provide administrative support for sales and business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in sales, digital marketing, or business development are a plus.

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with CRM tools (GHL, ClickUp) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach automation platforms.
  • Understanding of the sales funnel, business development lifecycle, and client engagement strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and research skills for market intelligence.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Experience

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship Management.
  • Internships or academic projects in sales/marketing will also be considered.
