Associate Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to all safety and health regulations. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals in a supportive environment that prioritizes patient care and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, endodontics, and restorative work.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and practice protocols.
• Utilize dental software such as Open Dental for managing patient information and treatment documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.

Experience

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Valid state dental license, DEA, and malpractice insurance to practice dentistry.
• Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with Epic software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Proficiency in dental fabrication techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Wednesday and another day per your choosing plus 2 Saturday a month

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $600.00 - $850.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
