Associate Dentist – Hygiene Exam and Whitening Oversight

Pearly Whites is launching a new fee-for-service hygiene and whitening center in Myrtle Beach, SC, and we’re seeking a licensed South Carolina dentist for a diagnostic and supervisory role.

This position involves no restorative, endodontic, or surgical work—ideal for dentists who prefer a focused, low-liability environment.

Core responsibilities

• Conduct hygiene exams (D0120/D0150) per state requirements
• Authorize RDHs for hygiene procedures
• Perform oral cancer, periodontal, and caries risk screenings
• Refer patients to partner practices for restorative needs
• Oversee professional whitening protocols
• Maintain accurate digital records

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD with active South Carolina dental license
• Strong diagnostic and documentation skills
• Professional, patient-focused communication style

Compensation

Competitive hourly or daily rate based on experience and availability.
