Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures and a commitment to patient education and care. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive dental services, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and specialized treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license and certification in CPR.
  • Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with pediatric patients is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
  • Ability to perform root canal therapy, medical imaging, and other specialized procedures as needed.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.

Pay: $135,424.17 - $163,091.48 per year
