Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring high standards of patient comfort, safety, and treatment quality. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures with precision and compassion. Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix is preferred, along with experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and general dentistry practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews and clinical examinations.
  • Diagnose dental issues utilizing medical imaging and dental terminology effectively.
  • Develop and discuss personalized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Perform various dental procedures including general dentistry treatments, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Execute four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize dental fabrication tools for prosthetic work as needed.
  • Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless clinic operations and exceptional patient care.

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control standards, and medical documentation practices.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision.
  • Skilled in patient care with excellent communication skills to explain treatments clearly.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with HIPAA compliance is essential.
  • Capable of working efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow.

Pay: $750.00 - $1,200.00 per day
