Associate Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and software, including Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive dental services across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed. Experience in dental fabrication, root canal therapy, and pediatric care is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and HIPAA compliance to ensure accurate patient assessment and record-keeping.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient examinations including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and anatomy knowledge
• Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics
• Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient experience
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols during all procedures
• Document all treatments accurately in electronic health records using Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix software
• Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment options
• Collaborate with team members to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records management
• Keep up-to-date with advances in dental technology and procedures to provide the highest quality of care

Qualifications

• Valid dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist in the state of employment
• Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment; experience with dental fabrication is a plus
• Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques
• Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures
• Ability to perform dental extractions and other surgical procedures with precision
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse patient populations including pediatrics
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict confidentiality of medical records
• Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $750.00 - $1,200.00 per day
