Duties

• Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and root canal therapy with precision and care
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging
• Utilize advanced dental technology such as electronic health records systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to document treatments accurately
• Execute dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Provide pediatric dentistry services tailored to young patients’ needs while ensuring their comfort and cooperation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote lifelong dental health
• Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient medical records and confidentiality at all times
• Stay current with medical terminology, dental terminology, and advances in dental technology to deliver state-of-the-art care

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice dentistry in the respective state or region with current DEA registration if applicable
• Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and infection control practices
• Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and medical documentation standards
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration
• Ability to perform detailed patient assessments using comprehensive clinical judgment
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management standards
• Experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare environment is highly desirable
