HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Associate Digital Content Manager plays a key role in executing BSN SPORTS’ digital content strategy across multiple channels, with a strong focus on social media, sports-curated newsletters, articles, webinars, and web content updates.


This role is ideal for a creative and strategic content creator who’s passionate about bringing the spirit of sports—and the community of people who make youth sports happen—to life through authentic, engaging digital storytelling. You will collaborate across teams to craft content that reflects who we are as a brand, why we exist, who we serve, and the value we deliver to coaches, athletes, and teams across the country.


The ideal candidate is highly comfortable leveraging AI tools and platforms to improve efficiency, ideation, and execution. You’ll be a hands-on content creator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, blending creativity with strategy to build community and drive engagement across BSN SPORTS’ digital ecosystem.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Social Media & Brand Storytelling

  • Serve as a voice and face of the BSN SPORTS brand across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn — creating content that feels authentic, engaging, and community-driven.
  • Support the ideation, planning, and creation of daily social content — including videos, graphics, and stories — using platform-native tone, humor, and storytelling that connects with coaches and athletes.
  • Build and grow a strong, interactive community by engaging directly with followers and responding in real time to sports culture, trends, and relevant moments.
  • Experiment with creative tools, filters, and AI-driven design platforms to push the boundaries of digital storytelling.
  • Develop recurring content series, challenges, and brand moments that inspire conversation, drive engagement, and celebrate team spirit.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to launch campaigns, products, and initiatives through compelling social-first storytelling tailored to each platform.
  • Track and analyze content performance, using insights to optimize reach, engagement, and cultural relevance.


Content Development & Support

  • Assist in planning, writing, and deploying sports-curated newsletters and Coaches Corner articles that educate, inspire, and build community among coaches and athletic directors.
  • Support the planning and execution of webinars, coordinating content, managing promotional efforts, and assisting with post-event recaps and content distribution.
  • Partner with the marketing and digital teams to update and maintain BSNSPORTS.com content, ensuring visuals and messaging align with active campaigns and promotions.


AI Integration & Efficiency

  • Use AI tools to streamline brainstorming, copywriting, image sourcing, and content scheduling workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and enhance campaign efficiency through smart, AI-assisted platforms.
  • Stay up to date on emerging AI and social media trends to help BSN SPORTS stay at the forefront of marketing innovation.


Collaboration & Project Management

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Category, and Digital teams to ensure consistency in messaging and execution across all channels.
  • Manage content calendars, track deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met with accuracy and creativity.
  • Consolidate feedback, maintain version control, and ensure smooth execution of campaign assets from concept to completion.




QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Deep passion for sports, storytelling, and digital content creation.
  • Strong understanding of social media culture, trends, and editing styles — particularly for TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video.
  • Creative storyteller who can translate brand strategy into fun, relatable, and native social content
  • Strong familiarity with AI tools for copywriting, image generation, and campaign optimization (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to produce high-volume, fast-turnaround content.
  • Comfortable responding in real time to sports, pop culture, and community moments.
  • Proactive mindset — demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and the ability to respond quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Tools proficiency — experience with marketing project management platforms such as Asana, Miro, Figma, and AI-assisted tools.
  • Project management skills — ability to manage workflows and deliverables for multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills — ability to write and edit engaging marketing content and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Cross-functional collaboration — proven ability to partner with creative, marketing, merchandising, and digital content teams.
  • Familiarity with sports marketing, retail, or eCommerce environments.
  • Passion for innovation, teamwork, and shaping how brands connect with sports culture.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience managing or contributing to multi-platform brand accounts with a record of audience growth and engagement.
  • Experience using creative or AI/interactive tools to enhance storytelling and production.
