How will you make an impact in this role?

We are seeking a Data Governance Analyst with 2–5 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and compliant with governance policies. You will work across business and technical teams to establish standards, support data quality initiatives, and strengthen our overall data governance framework.
Key Responsibilities

Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of data governance policies, procedures, and standards.

Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify and define critical data elements (CDEs) and maintain business glossaries.

Monitor and report on data quality metrics, supporting remediation efforts where required.

Assist in metadata management, lineage tracking, and cataloging of enterprise data assets.

Ensure compliance with internal data policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, financial regulatory requirements).

Contribute to awareness and training efforts to promote data governance best practices across the organization.

Partner with data stewards and system owners to document and resolve governance-related issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or related roles.

Familiarity with data governance frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Hands-on experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Talend, or similar) is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally with both business and technical stakeholders.
