POSITION:Associate Director, Brand Marketing
COMPENSATION:Pursuant to state regulations,the salary range is $124,000-$145,000 plus bonus potential. Eligible to participate in the company benefits plan. Job Summary
The Associate Director of Brand Marketing will hold a pivotal role in defining Subtext’s brand marketing strategy and ensuring execution of standards across all LOCAL VERVE, and EVER developments, with a focus on an unparalleled resident experience. We are seeking an individual who possesses an impeccable eye for detail, dynamic proficiency in verbal and written communication, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Uphold Subtext’s marketing standards across all marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Effectively communicate and provide trainings on Subtext’s established standards to internal stakeholders.
- Offer input on the core brand refreshes of LOCAL, EVER and VERVE, contributing to their continued success as well as consulting on acquisition branding decisions.
- Assist in implementation and enforcement of hospitality and resident experience touchpoints at each community, ensuring consistency and brand integrity
- Assist in developing marketing benchmarks and expectations for both new development and operational communities
- Participate in vetting new marketing technologies, vendors, and processes
- Assist in developing property level marketing templates which may include Annual Marketing Plans, Monthly Marketing Plans, Flyers, Eblasts, Social Media Content, and Training Plans.
- Conduct thorough reviews and provide expert guidance on property-specific marketing plans.
- Maintain oversight of Subtext’s digital presence, including the website, social media platforms, and Internet Listing Services, ensuring a strong and cohesive online presence.
- Monitor and implement industry trends to ensure top performance of websites, SEO/SEM and social media
- Monitor, manage, and enhance brand reputation of each community (online reviews, community engagement, PR opportunities)
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for all third-party marketing vendors, including digital agencies, creative and content agencies, ILS vendors, and marketing technology vendors.
- Review and provide feedback on creative marketing assets or copy in Canva or Adobe as needed
- Review all promotional and signage orders for brand alignment and market trends
- Ensure fair housing and diversity compliance of all marketing avenues
- Oversee creation of Brand Ambassador programming
- Recruit, manage and mentor a team of Portfolio Marketing Managers and New Development Portfolio Managers, providing coaching, strategic direction, and performance feedback.
- Train new hires on all Subtext brands, marketing standards, and processes.
- Hold team accountable for all marketing KPI’s and execution of brand strategies
- Collaborate with Director of Operations and Director of Marketing as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business, Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of applicable marketing experience, hospitality, housing, or real estate related experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and react quickly in a demanding fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, balance priorities and deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
