The project:

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands on Construction Management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub contract packages.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Oversee contract documentation including warranties, bonds, and licenses to ensure formal execution by all relevant parties.
  • Lead large teams or multiple teams, fostering behaviours that drive success, meet KPIs, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accurate valuation measurements for cost control and enforce robust reporting services.
  • Direct monthly post contract cost reporting, presenting financial updates and forecasts to clients.
  • Identify and manage costs related to design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges.
  • Evaluate contractor claims for delays and additional costs, including those from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Manage project completion certification, including practical completion, defect resolution, and final account sign off.
  • Champion cost management innovation, process improvement, and carbon reduction initiatives aligned with net zero goals.
You'll need to have:
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
  • Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent).
