The expected hourly range for this position is between $20.60 to $32.00. This range may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.

JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Financial Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data entered into Salesforce, NetSuite, and our operational systems related to new sales. The Analyst will reconcile transactions as they are entered by Sales or Accounting, verifying key financial figures, such as contract value, are accurate. The role will support the maintenance of the company’s Customer and Item master records, ensuring sales are entered using existing records and flagged to leadership when new items are needed. This position provides an opportunity to develop your financial systems and data analysis skills while supporting essential processes in a collaborative environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Reconcile Salesforce records with data from operational systems, ensuring all information is aligned and accurate.
  • Confirm that unique identifiers and key attributes (customer IDs, contract value, projection estimates) are populated and match the source data.
  • Review contract value calculators and ensure inputs are entered correctly.
  • Collaborate with Sales and RevOps to resolve discrepancies and track errors in a log.
  • Maintain and update master data for customer and item records and follow checklist when new items need to be requested from Finance Systems or Sales Ops.
  • Assist in preparing weekly reports or summaries related to reconciled data, including number of records, number of errors, and status of open discrepancies.
  • Streamline reconciliation workflows. Suggest and implement improvements, including checklists, templates, and instructions.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience to successfully perform the job.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 0-3 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or data analysis role.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or other CRM system) and NetSuite (or similar financial system) is highly desired. Ability to quickly learn and navigate software to input, extract, and compare data is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Should be comfortable with basic formulas and data manipulation. Experience with functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data filtering for reconciliation tasks is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling data. This role involves repetitive data checks, so the ability to maintain focus and catch inconsistencies is critical.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly document discrepancy reports and communicate to team members in finance or sales.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented with the ability to follow procedures and checklists reliably.
