Associate / Full Professor in Accounting

Overview

Effat University College of Business invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the ranks of Associate Professor or Full Professor in Accounting. Successful candidates are expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in accounting, complement and enhance research activities, supervise student research theses/projects, and publish in top journals in the field.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in accounting using practical, innovative methods.
• Advance the research activities of the department and college with their own scholarly work.
• Supervise student research theses and projects.
• Publish in top-tier journals in the field.
• Engage in service, mentorship, and potential industry engagement as appropriate.

Qualifications

• PhD in Accounting from an accredited university; BSc, MSc and PhD in Accounting as stated in the posting.
• At least five years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Strong commitment to high-quality teaching, outstanding research, and a strong publication record.
• Ability to generate research funds and maintain strong relations with the industry.
• Strong management and leadership qualifications, communication, interpersonal, professional skills, and proficiency in English.
