Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, engaging with patients, and ensuring adherence to best practices in dental health. The Associate General Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality dental services while maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including, but not limited to, general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
- Stay current on advancements in dental technology and practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and ability to pass all required background checks.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other specialized procedures is a plus.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.

Base Pay: $318.39 per day
