Associate General Dentist

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using medical imaging technology.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and dental terminology understanding, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
• Utilize dental office software such as Dentrix to schedule appointments, document treatments, and manage patient information efficiently.
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment during all procedures.
• Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during treatments.
• Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices, including endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and dental fabrication techniques.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.

Requirements

• Dental degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice as a General Dentist.
• Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings demonstrating proficiency in general dentistry procedures.
• Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for efficient practice management.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and oral surgery procedures.
• Ability to communicate complex dental concepts clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds; compassionate patient care skills are essential.
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to work with pediatric patients is highly valued.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing medical documentation and medical records accurately.

Pay: $1,750.00 - $3,500.00 per day
