Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager 1 at Headquarters in Sacramento, the Associate Personnel Analyst performs the following duties:

Analyses and responds to classification and pay issues (classification studies, review of duty statements and other position guidelines, salary compaction, etc.);
Advises employees on upward mobility;
Provides advice, assistance, and/or recommendations to managers and supervisors regarding employee disciplinary matters;
Reviews, edits, and/or drafts disciplinary documents; and
Acts as the department’s Labor Relations analyst for their assigned units.

Working Conditions

This position is classified as “Hybrid” and eligible for up to three days of telework per week, minimum of two (2) days of in-office work. Majority of work is done at a computer station, some standing, reaching, lifting depending on tasks done like filing, presenting/training, etc. Some travel is required on an infrequent basis to assist with investigations, attend trainings, or for other departmental events.

The reporting location for this position is at CCC HQ located at 1719 24th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816.

Career Consultation
California Conservation Corps is excited to take part in the first agency-wide collaborative physical career center. The career center is located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento in the brand new CNRA headquarters building. Services provided include one-on-one career consultations, application/resume review, career guidance, mock interviews, and tips for applying.

Special Requirements
