As an Associate Inside Sales Representative, your primary function will be to act as a dynamic sales professional focused on virtual selling. In this role, you’ll leverage Eaton’s digital tools and CRM systems to achieve your sales targets.

We’re looking for someone with a proactive, hunter mindset. You’ll use data analytics to conduct virtual customer meetings and, when necessary, occasional on-site visits. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within your portfolio, and you’ll drive revenue growth by strategically engaging new and existing customers and partners through online and direct interactions.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Market analysis & forecasting
  • Portfolio Plan creation and maintenance
  • Customer data management
  • Quality (complaint) process management through Customer service/support
  • Outbound contacting existing customers/prospects and develop opportunities
  • Gain commitment and close the deal
  • Handle objections/overcome barriers
  • Deliver solutions
  • Opportunity Tracking
  • Needs discovery
  • Deal/Pipeline Reviews
  • Deal Advancement & monitoring
  • Collaboration with Other Departments

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 0–1 years of relevant experience in sales or customer-facing roles, combined with a basic understanding of technical electrical sales — familiarity with electrical products and terminology is expected to support effective engagement with customers and partners

Skills:

  • Professional communication skills in both English and German (minimum B2 level; fluency in German is essential for customer interactions)

  • Basic technical understanding of electrical concepts, gained through studies or internships, with a willingness to deepen this knowledge through continuous learning

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a proactive and engaging communication style — talkative, interactive, and customer-focused

  • Open-mindedness and adaptability, with a genuine interest in evolving within the electrical sales field

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook

  • Familiarity with search engines and social media platforms, supporting digital engagement and research

  • Problem-solving mindset, with strong research capabilities and attention to detail
