Associate Lawyer

Job Overview
Castronovo & McKinney is a high-end Plaintiff's Employment Law Firm. We are seeking candidates with defense experience as all of the attorneys at the firm are former employment defense lawyers. Duties
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research using resources Westlaw
- Prepare legal documents including drafting contracts, agreements, and pleadings
- Represent clients in depositions, take depositions, handle court proceedings and litigate cases when necessary
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting clients' cases

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Excellent organization and writing skills are critical for this position.

- Experience in New Jersey Employment Law
- Admission to the state bar association where practicing law is required
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, and litigation
- Familiarity withWestlaw platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
