Supervises a team, allocates tasks to team members and co-ordinate work of other team members to efficiently implement the end-to-end testing in the software development life cycle.
Handles and leads end-to-end testing delivery and activities in alignment with the organisation's quality standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs.
Reviews and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and technology strategy.
Leads all aspects of the maintenance of all customer technology solutions, ensuring all issues are resolved on time.
Develops understanding of LSEG's commercial direction and how quality and technology are a part of this.
Builds positive relationships with internal and external collaborators, growing own network and collaborating with other teams.
Communicates sophisticated / technical information clearly and concisely in an audience-appropriate format Essential Skills/Experience Required:
Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering
8+ years in software delivery domain
Proven experience of testing processes and methodologies: strategy, plan, design, implement, report and measurement
Good team-collaboration and skills on effective communication
Familiar with agile methodology and good sense of quality ownership and risk assessment Exhibits Test Management experience in entire software development life cycle, software quality assurance, preferably in multi-tiered applications.

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code based on user requirements.
Develop well maintainable quality software using agile methodologies, adhering to team/company standards.
Participate in planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements and provide design options, work breakdown and estimates of work.
Demonstrate a focus on quality, through unit testing, integration testing and peer reviews, ensuring software meets requirements.
Thoroughly document, review, and maintain all required technical reference material to ensure supportability and reuse.
Actively participate in team status meetings, providing timely status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects to supervisor.
