Associate – Litigation (Business & Commercial Subgroup)

The Litigation team, particularly the Business and Commercial subgroup, is known for handling high-stakes matters at both national and global scales. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a range of commercial litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and internal memoranda
• Conduct complex legal research and develop litigation strategies
• Prepare for hearings, depositions, trial, and settlement conferences
• Interface with clients to provide updates and strategic counsel
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with firm and legal procedural standards
• Participate in firm citizenship, training, and pro bono programs

Job Requirements:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in Florida (or eligible to waive in)
• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience at a law firm
• Background in commercial, business, or complex civil litigation
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong oral advocacy and communication ability
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
• Experience in federal court practice – preferred
• Federal judicial clerkship – preferred
• Prior experience with class action or multidistrict litigation – preferred
