Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Men’s Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the design and development of our women's outerwear collections while ensuring alignment with 32degrees' brand aesthetic, quality standards, and market positioning. You will collaborate across departments to bring innovative designs from concept to production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development of seasonal men's collections.
  • Research and analyze fashion trends to anticipate market demands and customer preferences.
  • Partner with teams and suppliers on style development and product improvements.
  • Coordinate with technical design and production teams to ensure design integrity throughout development.
  • Attend and document fit sessions, implementing necessary design modifications.
  • Monitor style performance and maintain seasonal line plans.
  • Contribute to merchandising strategies and product presentations.
  • Assess colorways and provide detailed feedback on lab dips and strike-offs.
  • Create technical packages and detailed specifications using CAD software.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry innovations.
  • Facilitate the proto and sample approval process.
  • Meet critical path deadlines within the product development calendar.
  • Responsible for approval of sales samples to ensure garment is production ready.
  • Responsible for staying within the time and action calendar.
  • Maintain clear communication channels across design, sales, merchandise, and production teams.
  • Some travel is necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-7 years of professional experience in men's outerwear design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated expertise in color theory, fabric evaluation, and construction techniques.
  • Strong technical knowledge of performance materials, thermal insulation, and waterproof technologies.
  • Thorough understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fit principles.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional product teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Adaptable self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
