We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Professor in Family Medicine to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic leadership in the department, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Family Medicine.
• Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
• Conduct innovative research and publish in reputable indexed journals.
• Mentor and support faculty and students in research activities.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and academic planning.
• Engage in community outreach and professional collaborations.
• Contribute to the university’s governance and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Family Medicine, or MRCGP – Family Medicine (Clinical Degree).
• Minimum five years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor.
• Strong research record with at least seven research papers published or accepted in indexed journals (e.g., Scopus), with at least five as the first or corresponding author.
• Experience with accreditation processes and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Proven track record of securing research grants and leading research projects.
• Experience in clinical practice alongside academic responsibilities.
• Involvement in professional associations and medical education initiatives.
