What you'll be doing
The Digital Merchandising Associate will play a critical role in analysing performance data, providing actionable insights, and ensuring the efficient execution of merchandising strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate key metrics, improve processes, and enhance the overall online customer experience. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to support the team in optimizing performance across our e-commerce platforms.
- Analyse e-commerce performance metrics, including sales trends, conversion rates, and customer behavior, to identify areas for improvement.
- Generate and maintain detailed reports on merchandising performance, providing actionable insights to the digital merchandising team.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with the digital merchandising team to optimize product placement, navigation, and sorting strategies based on data insights.
- Support A/B testing initiatives and analyse results to recommend changes that improve customer engagement and conversion.
- Develop dashboards and automated reports to streamline data monitoring and reporting processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, e-commerce platform advancements and industry best practices to ensure the online shopping experience remains competitive and engaging.
- Utilize e-commerce platforms to implement best practices in visual merchandising, ensuring optimal product placement, navigation, and customer engagement.
- Assist in creating and maintaining seasonal and monthly merchandise plans, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and business objectives.
- Conduct inventory analysis to identify replenishment opportunities, markdowns, or reallocation of stock.
- Partner with brands to review and refine collection performance based on customer preferences and emerging trends.
What you ll need to succeed
- Must have strong online merchandising/ Merchandising admin experience - approximately 2-5years
- Experience with a fashion/beauty eCommerce business
- Strong Analytical skills
- Commercial awareness to drive conversion rates onsite
- Strong reporting experience and forecasting
- Self starter and a quick learner
