Associate Trial Attorney

Our small but dynamic insurance defense litigation firm in Houston, TX, seeks an Associate Trial Attorney. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation (three years preferred), but all bar candidates with the motivation to learn and ability to handle a trial docket are encouraged to apply. We seek applicants best described as follows:

• Positive attitude, litigation prowess, and a genuine desire to try cases.
• Self-motivated with the desire to handle all aspects of cases from intake through disposition.
• Ability to handle daily court proceedings, motions practice, filings, and ongoing casework.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent self-awareness and mastery of "soft skills."
• Skilled at interpreting social cues from judges, opposing counsel, and clients.
• Able to independently address any issues that arise during a case.
• Coachable and self-reflective with a commitment to achieving the best results in a client-focused practice.
• Ability to confidently yet humbly win over clients and juries in the litigation environment.
• Exceptionally skilled at written and oral communication.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
