We’re growing our team and looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our talented, supportive, and fun-loving crew. If you’re a compassionate, curious veterinarian who wants to make a meaningful impact every day, Prairie Animal Hospital might be your next home. Collaboration, mentorship, and a little bit of laughter are part of our daily routine, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
Who You Are
You’re a DVM (or soon to be) with solid medical knowledge, strong communication skills, and a genuine love for pets and their people. You’re confident making decisions, enjoy working with a supportive team, and know how to handle challenges with grace. You also value growth, and you appreciate an environment where mentorship and ongoing learning are truly encouraged. Leadership training? Ongoing CE? Fear Free handling? Count yourself in.
What You’ll Do
You’ll join our team to diagnose, treat, and perform surgery while keeping patient comfort at the center. You’ll communicate clearly with clients, collaborate with techs and assistants, and help maintain the medical standards we’re proud of. You’ll stay organized, keep accurate medical records, and pitch in wherever needed.
Leadership and Teamwork
You don’t need a management title to lead. You’ll help build morale, contribute ideas, and keep our culture strong. You’ll listen, stay curious, lift others up, and step in to help when the day gets busy. This is a place where teamwork matters, and where mentorship is part of how we support one another every day.
Client Care
Our clients trust us with their furry family. You’ll listen closely, make clear recommendations, and deliver an experience that keeps them confident in their care. You’ll follow up, show empathy, and tailor communication to meet each client’s needs so they feel supported and informed.
What You Bring
What We Offer
A growing team that values your ideas. Support for CE and leadership development. A collaborative environment where we help each other succeed and mentorship is considered an essential part of clinician growth. Opportunities to participate in community events, create content, and contribute to the hospital’s ongoing success.
