Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and memoranda with precision and clarity.
• Represent clients in litigation proceedings.
• Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, researching relevant laws, and preparing for court proceedings or negotiations.
• Maintain organized case files and manage legal administrative tasks efficiently within the law office environment.
• Support ongoing professional development by staying current with legal trends and updates through continuous research.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge in family law.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather pertinent case law and statutory information.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal drafting for various audiences.
• Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively on behalf of clients or organization interests.
• Proven experience in handling complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
