About the role:

Law Offices of Alan M. Cohen & Associates LLC is looking for a Litigation Attorney preferably with over 3 years of commercial litigation (preferably collections and construction law) and civil non-small claim trial experience to join our team in Framingham, MA. This position has room for potential growth for the right candidate. You should be detail oriented, driven and able to work well with others in a team environment. You preferably has portable billings and existing clients.Although we do not currently offer health insurance we are commencing to explore same.

Pay is commensurate with experience, ability and verifiable portable billings

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, filing pleadings, motions;
• Court appearances arguing in support of motions or opposing motions;
• Preparing discovery and other legal documents;
• Communicating with clients, witnesses, courts, sheriff's and other attorneys;
• Investigating and analyzing client accounts;
• Investigating client’s claims;
• Managing client files and accounts;
• Trying bench and jury cases all courts;
• All other aspects of civil litigation in state and federal courts;
• Managing personnel

• Construction Litigation: 3 years (Preferred)
• Civil Trial: 2 years (Preferred)
• Commercial Litigation: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Massachusetts Bar (Required)
