Job Title: Principal Attorney – Commercial Transactions

Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai

Experience: 8 to 10 years (Post-Qualification)

Work Type - WFH (Would be required to visit the office for client meetings, review meetings, and for office events or sessions.)

Job Description: We are hiring a Principal Attorney with strong experience in commercial transactions to join our Mumbai office. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of corporate and commercial documents while working closely with the Associate Partner.

Key Responsibilities:

● Draft, vet, and negotiate documents for: ● Mergers & Acquisitions ● Private Equity and Investment Transactions ● Commercial Loan documentation and Term sheets ● Joint Ventures, Business Transfers, and Share Purchase Agreements ● Franchise, Distribution, and Licensing Arrangements ● Employment Contracts, ESOP Schemes, and Consultancy Agreements ● Corporate Compliance Documents and Business Operation Frameworks ● Coordinate with clients, regulatory consultants, and opposing counsels for timely execution of transactions ● Prepare Legal Opinions and Transaction Structures ● Support in legal due diligence and compliance checks ● Maintain document version control and ensure finalization within timelines

Requirements:

● Strong drafting skills across a wide spectrum of commercial contracts. ● Sound understanding of corporate transactions, deal structuring, and risk allocation. ● Prior experience in handling M&A, private equity deals, and commercial negotiations. ● LLB with 8–10 years of relevant transactional experience. ● Ability to work independently and deliver under timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
