Attorney - Litigator Full time or Part time

Overview
Small midtown law firm near Grand Central Terminal seeks a full time or part time Litigator with a minimum of three (3) years Litigation experience to assist in our commercial collection practice.

Responsibilities

• Work on all aspects of Litigation from inception to conclusion
• Make court appearance, motions and Trials
• Draft legal documents such as briefs, memorandum of law, pleadings, motions, opposition papers, etc.
• Independently handle commercial Litigation in Civil and Supreme courts

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with active New York bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum three (3) years Litigation experience
• Must be capable of commuting to our New York City office
• Experienced in conducting legal research using LexisNexis or Westlaw

Compensation: $150,000/year or $75.00/hour (dependent on qualifications and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
