Attorney -Tort Defense - Auto

We are seeking a skilled Tort Defense Attorney with a dedicated focus on automobile liability and bodily injury claims to join our growing team.

This role is designed for a confident litigator with at least three years of tort defense experience who is ready to manage cases from inception through trial. You will get substantial courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to handle challenging cases within a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities

• Defend complex automobile liability and bodily injury claims in New York State and Federal courts.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and comprehensive discovery demands/responses.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery processes, and perform thorough case evaluations.
• Represent clients in court for conferences, hearings, and trials.
• Advise clients on case strategy, risk assessment, and resolution options.
• Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues to deliver high-quality representation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Admission to the New York Bar (required).
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on insurance defense litigation experience (automobile liability focus strongly preferred).
• Proven strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills.
• Solid knowledge of insurance coverage issues and effective case evaluation methods.
• Exceptional writing, research, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage a robust caseload while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
