Audiovisual Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Audiovisual Project Manager to oversee the planning, installation, and maintenance of AV systems across various client sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical and telecommunication systems, along with excellent project management skills. This role involves coordinating field service activities, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and ensuring seamless integration of audiovisual solutions. The Audiovisual Project Manager will play a critical role in delivering high-quality AV experiences by leveraging mechanical knowledge, cabling expertise, and schematic interpretation to meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of audiovisual projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of low voltage systems, cabling, and telecommunication infrastructure.
• Utilize schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate system setup and troubleshooting.
• Perform field service tasks such as system testing, software troubleshooting, hardware repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
• Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble, install, and troubleshoot AV equipment.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, schematics, and maintenance records.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards related to electrical experience and E&I practices.
• Provide technical support for software issues related to AV systems and computer hardware integration.
• Assist in training clients or staff on system operation and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical systems, telecommunication, low voltage wiring, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical components used in AV installations.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, cabling techniques, and system maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of software troubleshooting for AV systems as well as computer hardware integration.
• Familiarity with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles is highly desirable.
• Experience in field service operations involving AV equipment or similar technology environments.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and team members.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
