Auto Electrician Technician

Al Barq Auto Repairing & Turning is looking for a versatile Auto Electrician Technician skilled in both auto electrical systems and general mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Japanese and European vehicles and the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle components.

This role is ideal for someone who can handle both wiring/electrical tasks and basic to intermediate mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities: Electrical Duties

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults (wiring issues, shorts, grounding problems)
• Inspect and repair alternators, starters, sensors, lighting systems, ECUs
• Use diagnostic tools and read wiring diagrams
• Install electrical accessories (lights, sensors, alarms, radios, etc.)

Mechanical Duties

• Perform routine maintenance (oil service, filters, belts)
• Assist with engine, suspension, and brake repairs
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues
• Support in removing and installing mechanical components

General Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality workmanship and follow safety standards
• Work independently and cooperate with the workshop team
• Keep tools and workspace clean and organized

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience combining electrical + mechanical work
• Strong knowledge of Japanese and European vehicles
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and basic mechanical equipment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
