**Job Summary**
Responsible for selling various parts in mechanical, hardware, repair, or parts stores. This role involves assessing customer needs, taking orders, locating products, and processing customer transactions.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Assist customers in finding the spare parts they need.
- Review catalogs to identify new parts available in the market.
- Ensure that all necessary parts are in stock and ready for purchase.
- Order new parts from the catalog as required.
- Identify replacement parts based on inspections of old parts, customer requests, or descriptions of malfunctions.
- Inspect machines, products, or vehicles to determine the needed parts.
- Locate other vendors who have the requested part if it is not available in-store.
- Recommend substitute parts or demonstrate how to modify existing parts.
- Examine parts for defects and exchange any defective items.
- Process customer transactions at checkout.
- Accept payments in cash, checks, or credit cards and provide change as necessary.
- Conduct inventory checks of stock and replenish when necessary.
- Take orders over the phone.
- Sell parts to repair garages, retail shops, truck and bus companies, dealerships, and the public.
- Measure parts using precision measuring instruments to determine if similar parts can be machined to the required size.
- Mark and store parts in the stockroom according to a prearranged system.
- Set up merchandise for display.
- Address customer questions or concerns.
- Utilize knowledge of machines and equipment to discuss the features and uses of parts with customers.
- Look up stock numbers and prices for parts in catalogs or on computer systems.
- Receive and deliver parts to customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
